Global Trusted Advisor on Trade in Wild Species

TRAFFIC provides evidence-based solutions through rigorous research and analysis, rooted in science, data, and our expertise. We are recognised global thought leaders who have been on the forefront of these issues for half a century.

We have an international network of nearly 200 experts on the ground in Africa, Asia, Pacific, Europe, and the Americas – and leverage the conservation expertise of our founders IUCN and WWF, and other partners.

We are part of the Cambridge Conservation Initiative - based in the David Attenborough Building - a hub which brings together Cambridge University and several international NGOs striving for sustainability and to conserve nature.

We are trusted advisors to governments and intergovernmental processes, and bring public, private, and civil society, stakeholders together in new partnerships. We advise and connect people to accelerate collaboration and impact.

"The work of the Cambridge Conservation Initiative is so exceptional. By bringing together leaders in research, practice, policy and teaching, we stand the greatest chance of developing the solutions required to save our planet. I am enormously proud that these collaborations are occurring in a building bearing my name."

Sir David Attenborough.
