About three tigers have been saved by prompt and coordinated efforts of  Wildlife Crime Control Bureau (WCCB) recently in Corbett National Park. On  receiving information about dubious movements of a person from Bavariya Tribe from the park authorities, WCCB sprang into action. One person has been detained in this connection and has been reportedly produced before the Magistrate who sent him for judicial custody. The person entered the Corbett National Park and assumed identity of a beggar to survey the area  for presence of tiger. He was accompanied by another two persons who managed to escape. On detention and questioning of this person the authorities found tools for trap, nets, large quality of dry provisions, medicines, 9 mobile numbers and several local contacts. This booty indicates that the detained person is a professional in Wildlife Crime.
