Man fined for illegal possession of ivory, Zimbabwe

A man was convicted for illegal possession of after 1.2 kg in Zimbabwe and fined ZWD25 billion, reports AllAfrica.com

A HARARE man was on Wednesday fined $25 billion for illegal possession of ivory.

Emmerson Buruvuru (25) was convicted of illegally possessing 1,2 kg of ivory in contravention of the Parks and Wildlife Act.
