Two men convicted of illegally transporting 64 bear paws in October 2007, comprising 2 Sun Bears paws and the remainder from Asiatic Black Bears, have been sentenced to 10 years in gaol, reports Xinhuanet.com. Sun Bear is a first-class protected animal in China, and Asiatic Black Bear second-class protected.
