Illegal wildlife trader fined in Australia

A Queensland man who pleaded guilty to 21 charges of dealing in natve Australian wildife has received a hefty fine of AUD80,000 (USD74,000), reports News.com.au

A QUEENSLAND man has been convicted and fined AUD80,000 for unlawfully trading in protected wildlife.

Grant Arthur Nicholls, 67, today pleaded guilty in Brisbane to 21 charges relating to trading in native snakes, lizards, frogs and birds.
